We optimize Cornell’s investment in software by achieving significant savings through economies of scale and widely promoting software license opportunities. Last year, CU Software saved the university an estimated $2.1 million.

CU Software is part of Cornell Information Technologies’ Distributed Support unit, under Sunny Donenfeld. We work closely with the Information Technology Managers Council, the Office of Purchasing Services, and the Cornell Store’s Technology Connection.
