BEFORE YOU BEGIN……
Ensure that you have downloaded the necessary file for the software you ordered.
Ensure that you have available the Email Confirmation you received after placing your order for the software. This may contain your license key and specific instructions which may be helpful during installation.
It is recommended that you close all other applications prior to starting the installation.
1. Locate the ghost_solsuite_11.exe file on your desktop. Double clicking will initiate the extraction process (see below). Click Run to extract Ghost and begin installation.
1. After the extraction is completed, you will be prompted to choose which configuration of Ghost you wish to install. Clicking on your choice will launch that installation process (see below). The common choice is Install Console and Standard Tools option:
2. Complete the User Name field with your full name and ALWAYS use Cornell University as the Organization. Click Next.
3. Follow the prompts, clicking Next after reading each screen.
4. We recommend allowing the software to install to the default destination folder (see below).
5. Select the program options you want installed by clicking on each drop-down box (see below). Click Next.
6. Complete the Ghost Server Console Account Registration by supplying the Console Service Account name and password (see below). Click Next.
7. You are now ready to install Ghost (see below). Click Install to begin the installation process.
8. When the setup wizard has completed the installation, click Finish.
