SAS v9.2 Installation -- Note that Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide, SAS Bridge for ESRI, and SAS Integration Technologies features have not yet been released for v9.2.
Please download the SAS92_win32.zip and SAS92.zip files from the menus above.
1. Extract SAS 9.2 to your desktop. This will create a new folder named "SAS92 Software Depot 32bit". Also, extract SAS92.zip...you will need this during installation.
2. Open the "SAS92 Software Depot 32bit" folder and double click the "setup.exe" file to begin installation.
3. When the "Select Deployment Task" window opens, ensure the "Install SAS software" radio button is selected (should be pre-selected) and then click "Next".
4. The "Select Products to Install" window should be the next thing you see. You are encouraged to leave the default selection as-is and proceed with the installation by clicking "Next".
5. The "Specify SAS Installation Data File" window should apppear next. SAS will prompt you to select a new SID file...browse to the extracted SAS92 folder and select your appropriate license file.
6. SAS will provide a "Deployment Summary" window. Click "Start" and follow along as prompted by the SAS installer.
7. Enjoy using SAS v9.2.
