CU Software Licensing Services

The Media Lending Library is now relocated to the Engineering Library Circulation Desk in Carpenter Hall. 

CU Software, with the assistance of the Engineering Library Circulation Desk staff, maintains a free Media Lending Library for most of the software we offer (this does not mean a "Free" license to use the software). The software media may be used to install software for which you have already purchased a license.

Here's how it typically works:

• Search the product listing below to determine if we have media available
  
• If we do, purchase a license if you don't already have one.  For a complete list of software license agreements in place at Cornell, please visit:  http://cusoftware.cornell.edu/cusoftware/purchase/
  
• Checkout the media from the Engineering Library Circulation Desk in Carpenter Hall:

-- Borrow CD/DVDs' for 24 hours to install and/or burn a copy to keep local

The lending library primarily serves faculty, staff, and students in Ithaca. If you are at another location, we can still help you--just provide us with some type of express mail account number (FedEx, DH, etc.) and we will send the software to you.
